A healthy body= great grades
A group of students from kireka high school participating in an evening walk on Sunday. Physical exercises are very important because they help in keeping our bodies strong and healthy as explained below;
Regular exercise strengthens the body, builds muscles and bones, and keeps the heart healthy. It also helps prevent illnesses like obesity and lifestyle diseases hence living longer.
It also increases blood flow to the brain, which improves concentration, memory, and learning ability. Students who are physically active often find it easier to focus in class and perform better in exams. Therefore I encourage all students out their to actively participate in physical exercises.
Sometimes school life can be stressful so these exercises help in releasing tension and boosts the mood by releasing “feel-good” chemicals in the brain, making students feel more relaxed and positive.
Group activities like football, netball, or athletics teach cooperation, communication, and respect for others, helping students develop strong social relationships that could help them in the future.
Achieving fitness goals or performing well in sports gives students a sense of accomplishment, which boosts confidence.
Students who exercise regularly tend to sleep better, which helps them feel refreshed and ready to learn the next day. This also applies to everyone not only students.
